On Saturday, the 14th of April 2007, we conducted the 4th Quality Control Circle (QCC) Convention. The motto for this convention was “to make QCC activities as necessities, not an obligation.”
Five circles presented their improvement ideas in front of a panel of juries. These five groups had outperformed 31 other circles in a series of preliminary evaluations conducted during the six-month QCC period. The winner of the 4th convention was Road Circle, suggesting a way to reduce defects in the painting area by 70%.
Five facilitators were also selected to receive the company’s appreciation. They were evaluated on 10 criteria, mostly on their leadership and their being role models for their teams.

The convention that was held in Gedung DPD Golkar Tangerang was quite a success. All employees participated in the process by giving their supports to their colleagues who were presenting the materials.
At the end of the session, four employees who visited QCC Convention for companies around Tangerang area expressed their observations. The visit was a part of our program to self-evaluate our readiness before we join the competition.

To maintain good relationship with our customers, last year we organized a badminton competition to win SIER CUP and some cash money.
The competition was held in August 26th 2006 until September 9th 2006 at Gymnasium 1, Pelita Harapan School, Lippo Karawaci, Tangerang.
Seventy two participants from 12 companies participated. Those companies are PT. Jaya Kencana, PT. Pembangunan Perumahan, Schneider Indonesia, Meltech Consultindo,
PT. Wijaya Karya, PT. Pradiptaya, SIER, Metakom, Aerowisata Catering Services, PT. Deltasuplindo Internusa, PT. Abdibangun Buana and Fujitec.
The Winner for the first SIER CUP was PT.Pradiptaya.
SIER CUP I was sponsored by IME, Schneider, ABB, ALPIVAR, EPCOS, INVERTEK DRIVES, LEGRAND and PERMATA BANK.
